    • Confirmed customer concern of vehicle having a no start condition. Both batteries have completely failed. Recommend to start with replacement of both batteries. Installed two batteries into vehicle to continue testing. This vehicle has two main problems at this time. Terminal 87 is currently down(Fuse 22). The power with KOEO is non-existent and is controlled by engine control module(ECM), engine control module relay, and ignition switch(EZS). Everything with live data is showing the switch is currently operating properly. The Intelligent servo module(ISM) is also currently not operating properly. Performed adaption for ISM to be able to get vehicle into neutral. ISM states vehicle is in Drive. The transmission control module states vehicle is in Park. Attempted to put ISM in neutral. ISM is down and has an internal malfunction that will require replacement, programming, and coding. For Terminal 87 failure will need to perform stage 3 electrical diagnostics. It is very possible that the conclusion after electrical diagnostics the vehicle may need an ECM. Vehicle WILL NOT GO INTO NEUTRAL due to ISM failure, vehicle being a 4matic and having electronic parking brake. There is no bypass feature for this vehicle.
    • Need vehicle to run to diagnose Transmission shifting concern.
    • Recommend body shop to replace and paint
    • Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Top off all fluid levels and set tire pressures. Preform basic Vehicle inspection OIL LEVEL WHEN CAR CAME IN ____Full_______
    • Replaced both batteries.
    • Replaced ISM.
    • After replacement of ISM, programmed ISM and performed all calibrations. After completion of ISM went into Gear Select Module and performed calibrations. Started vehicle. Confirmed repair was successful. Vehicle now moves forward and reverse.
    • Confirmed customer concern. Scanned vehicle. Received codes: C1150. Possible problem with right front air strut assembly. Not able to duplicate problem at this time. Recommend to let vehicle sit for awhile and inspect for leak.
    • Recommend park brake actuator unit assembly.
    • 40 POINT AAA INSPECTION
    • WIPER BLADES – Remove & Replace

Inspected secondary air system. No visual faults found. Performed bi-directional testing on secondary air pump. Pump does not activate. Tested power and ground signal from air pump relay. Pump is receiving signal. Recommend to start with Secondary air pump. Then re-test secondary air system for proper operation. According to the vehicle. Service B is past due. Receive information from customer when the last oil change and filter service was received.
    • Replaced secondary air pump. Performed bi-directional testing on pump. Pump currently operates. Cleared all codes in all modules.
    • While performing oil change on vehicle found the oil filter cap to be loose. Found all seals on the oil filter cap to be rock hard and has not been changed for a long time with oil changes that is required to be replaced with a new filter. Found the engine oil drain plug to not have a crush washer on plug. Cleaned engine areas of oil leaks. Installed engine oil dye into engine. Ran vehicle for 30 mins. No signs of dye at this time. Recommend vehicle return in 500 miles to re-inspect for oil leaks.
    • Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Top off all fluid levels and set tire pressures. Preform basic Vehicle inspection OIL LEVEL WHEN CAR CAME IN ___1/2 QT LOW____

    • Confirmed customer concern of the check engine light illuminated on the dash panel. Test drove vehicle and confirmed no drive ability concerns with the engine or transmission at this time. Scanned vehicle. Received codes under manufacturer specific: 111500, 900516, 900D, 901D, 9177, 916B, 90D2, 9005, 9010, 550400, 580400, 9006, 9012, A10D1C. Global OBDII: P2459. Inspected freeze frame data. Inspected live stream data. DPF differential pressure sensor, boost pressure, intake pressure sensor, exhaust temperature sensors, charge temperature sensor, intake air temperature sensor. All numbers are in correct parameters. Ash content is in correct parameters. Due to the numbers, I have no recommendations for parts replacement at this time. The vehicle needs to do a regeneration. For the regeneration to occur, the vehicle needs to be driven at freeway speeds for at least 45 minutes to an hour. The system needs to get hot under load while driving to start the regeneration process.
    • Confirmed customer concern. Performed shake down test on front suspension. Found lower control arm rear bushings are torn and have major play. Recommend to START here!!! with alignment. Vehicle may need more, but can physically see bushing failure.
    • Vehicle has service that is due. See Revisions.
    • CONTROL ARM – Remove & Replace – Lower,One Side – [DOES NOT include alignment.]

Scanned vehicle and received codes: 0521, D408, 0513, 0718, 0717, 9010, 9211, 9207, 920E, 9505, 9001, 9128, 913D, 90E1, 9001, 9068, 9091, 9063, 9084, 9037, 9038, 9039, 9078, 9085, 9086, C001, 930C, 430A, D010, D241, D242, D243, D001, D300H/54016, 90028, 9032, 9031, 9027, 9005, P2010. Inspected live data for the ESP/ABS. The brake light switch is showing signal and activation of the brake switch. Inspected live scan data in the Electronic Gear Selector (EGS). The data being received from the brake lamp switch is intermittent and the EGS will not release the selector solenoid. Performed bi-directional testing on selector solenoid. Solenoid is operating properly at this time when activated. Recommend to start with Brake Lamp Switch, then clear codes in all modules, and re-test.
    • Replaced stop light switch. Cleared codes in all modules. Shifter is operating properly at this time as designed.

    • All modules now have full communication and operating properly at this time. One major concern is the rear turn signals and operation. Received codes 964211(B164211) and 964611(B164611). The rear tail lamps in the vehicle are incorrect for the vehicle. Recommend to start with replacing the tail lamp assemblies and then re-test. The correct assemblies have LED turn signals.
    • No communication with any modules. Vehicle locks and unlocks. Confirmed mileage appears on dash when key inserted but nothing else occurs with turned. Lifted up carpets and found large amounts of mold. Vehicle has all windows and sunroof taped up with duck tape. Recommend to start with ICM (Ignition control module) and Front SAM (Signal Aqcusition Module), include programming for both modules, then re-test.
    • Programmed Front SAM
    • Programmed Ignition Switch
    • Replaced Front SAM
    • Replaced Ignition Switch
