- 40 POINT AAA INSPECTION
- UPON BRING TRUCK INTO SERVICE NOTICED ENGINE WAS SURGING AND HAD A RATTLE NOISE. SURGING DID STOP, FOUND RATTLE IS WATER PUMP. (WATER PUMP IS DRIVEN BY TIMING BELT, CANNOT SEE IT.). PRESSURE CHECKED COOLING NOTED RADIATOR IS LEAKING. CANNOT TELL IF WATER PUMP IS LEAKING. PERFORMED BLOCK TEST USING A 5 GAS ANALYZER, FOUND 0 PPM HC. RECOMMEND: TIMING BELT WITH WATER PUMP RADIATOR UPPER AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSES BELT
- Removed old radiator and replaced with new.
- Removed and replaced thermostat.
- Removed and replaced water pump and timing belt components and torqued all bolts to spec.
