    • Confirmed customer concern. Scanned vehicle. Received codes: P0175, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0300, P2198B, U0401, P2638, U040168, U010100, U0416-68, U0416-F8, P0168, B18EA, B1E51, B1E9A. Performed inspection of fuel trims. Confirmed Bank 2 is at 20% fuel trims. Performed visual inspection under hood. Found positive cable end loose on battery. Found TSB# 20-100. TSB states regarding exact codes to replace fuel injectors. When the ECM finds a leaking injector the ECM will shut down that bank of injectors. Then once injectors are re-enacted, the computer recognizes the misfire and which cylinder. In this case the computer is recognizing cylinder 4 is the failed injector. Called dealership to see if vehicle is covered under Warranty Extension for 10year/150,000 miles. Vehicle is a salvage title and has no warranty. Cleared codes in all modules. Performed global battery reset. Recommend to start with, to follow TSB and replace ALL injectors. Then clear codes and adaptions. ***Note- Intake removal is necessary for fuel injector replacement. **** Note- After clearing codes in all modules. No codes returned at this time. Test drove vehicle. Vehicle drove great at this time. No codes set. Fuel trims are currently in spec at 2%
    • Replaced fuel injectors. Cleared codes and reset all adaptions. Test drove vehicle 10 miles. No warning lights illuminated, scanned vehicle. No codes. Drove great. Vehicle is in proper fuel control at this time.

    • Confirmed customer concern of a no crank, no start condition. Tested battery. Battery tests good at this time. Gained access to starter assembly. Checked power, ground and signal. All signals are present at this time. Put direct power to the starter solenoid. No go. Turned engine by hand. Engine spins. Recommend to start with starter. Then re-test system.
    • Replaced starter. Confirmed vehicle starts and runs. Tested starting and charging system. All tests pass at this time.

    • Removed door panel and lock assembly. Performed testing on lock actuator and cabling. Removed door lock and tested switch. Turning the cable manually where key would normally go, turns off the alarm. Must start with drivers door lock replacement, then once installed. Test all switches on doors, trunk and hood to make sure not have failed. But not able to perform testing until replacement of lock cylinder for the door.

    • Once cylinder head has been removed, will do a deck check on the engine block, and measure warpage on cylinder head. If everything appears to be fine, will send cylinder head to machine shop for resurface. Upon disassembly or reassembly, we may find other things that may need to be addressed at that time.

    • Replaced cooling fan assembly and motor
    • Replaced Drive Belt
    • Replaced Head gasket with all components.
    • Replaced high pressure power steering line
    • Replaced water pump, filled and bled cooling system. Cooling fans operate properly at this time. No overheating of engine at this time. Everything is operating as designed at this time.
    • Scanned vehicle and received codes: P0117, 11-1, 13-1, 15-1, 17-1, 31-1, 33-1, 37-1, 16-1, 18-1, 83-1, e7-11, 83-25, 31-10, 81-43, B1177. Filled cooling system, cooling system was low 1 gallon of coolant. Performed bi-direcional testing on cooling fans. Fans do not operate at any speed. Tested signal, power, and ground. Receiving proper signal, power and ground to cooling fan motors. Bled cooling system and performed block test on cooling system on 5 gas analyzer. Vehicle failed the block test at 66HC.
